Family Hotels in Majorca

What makes a family holiday for you!! For me it's ensuring there are suitable things to do for all the family including kids clubs, swimming pools that are warm enough for kids are a big thing for us as some can be freezing cold even when its 26° plus. Being near the beach is handy too saves having to carry the kids back to the hotel when they are tired.

Take a look at the list below of some of my recommendations these are places i have stayed with my family.

Playa Moreia - S'illot's - Majorca

What does Playa Moreia have to offer your family:

Well not only is it located on the beach front so you can wake up to those stunning sea views the beach is like a small cover with a river running to the sea. The beach isn't all sand as it has pebbles too i would recommend some of those sea shoes (you can find them here). Its shallow enough to play in with older kids or to sit on the sand and play.

The hotel offers a good size outdoor pool with a sloped entry and steps this is a great place to play with the little ones but can be a bit slippy on the slope and sunbeds are limited, it is in full sun and has limited sunshades too.

Family rooms (apartments) are a good size and have air-conditioning which is a bonus, a living room with sofa bed and trundle bed under near, table and a basic equipped kitchen and have a balcony or terrace. The en-suite bathroom is of good size and has a hairdryer too.

The hotel also has a kids play park, games room, on site bar and offers evening entertainment and children's entertainment too.

Cyprus is a stunning country to visit with amazing villages and beaches.

Hylation Tourist Village offers a range of family apartments, maisonettes and one bedroom apartments which include a bathroom and either a balcony or terrace. The hotel offers a range of evening entertainment including live acts, quiz, bingo and don't miss out on the Greek/Cypiot nights.

The hotel has landscaped gardens and a nice patio area, its a stroll down to the beach which has beach side restaurants and a couple of shops too. Sun loungers round the pool soon get taken up and there is limited shade during the main part of the day.

There isn't a lot to do with kids here though. They have a couple of pool tablets, tennis court and a swimming pool with a small kids pool.
